Kenya: The Art of Godfrey "Gado" Mwampembwa
The much awaited CNN African Voices feature on Godfrey "Gado" Mwampembwa, Kenya's foremost editorial cartoonist and creator of the XYZ Show, just aired. In the segment below Gado talks about the job of the editorial cartoonist in the era of Obama, Obama being from Kenya and cartooning in the shadow of last year's election crisis.
One of the other segments looks at the XYZ Show. Gado confirms Kenyans were expecting slapstick, while they are determined to do political satire:

but blogger didn't say he was Kenyan. S/he said Gado is "Kenya's foremost editorial cartoonist..."
