Kenya: The African Intertubes

Ushahidi.com founder and Kenyan blogger, Ory Okolloh, tells BBC's Kevin Mwachiro one of her gripes about the introduction of the internet into Africa is all the idealistic aspirations attached to it and all the "noble" things others think Africans ought to be doing with the internet. She thinks Africans should be left to their own devices and the internet, in their hands, will properly evolve...



And Dyn Inc' Gray Chynoweth talks to those responsible for the IP address allocation and the internet's stability, ICANN, and ICANN's CEO, Rod Beckstrom, talks about laying down the gauntlet for African governments to burst internet service provider monopolies.
